Every day we pack, transport, and install unique and priceless works. 

Regularly, the most important museums in France ask us to move their collections during works in their buildings. In 2020, we are moving all the works of the Cernuschi Museum as well as the immense collection of the Carnavalet Museum, which has been closed for 3 years for renovation. In the past, we have also been involved in moving works from the Musée de la Marine and the Musée de Blérancourt, to name but a few.

Our teams' current operations include packing recent productions from the Sèvres workshops, for example, which send vases or tableware around the world, so you can be confident in our ability to move your earthenware or crystal glasses: we regularly ship Baccarat from one end of the world to the other.

The Mobilier National also regularly calls on our services to move historical furniture to the Elysée, Matignon, the Senate, the National Assembly, but also in the provinces in prefectures or town halls.

Every month for the past 3 or 4 years we have been shipping haute couture dresses to the Metropolitan Museum in New York. They are carefully packed, mostly flat packed, and then shipped across the Atlantic. Regularly, high fashion houses have called upon our services to move their collections.

The specificities of recruitment at LP Art

Recruitment at LP Art follows certain strict guidelines, it is a moral obligation towards our clients. A clean criminal record is required as a first step of control.

A second very restrictive step is linked to our status as an agent approved by the DGAC (Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile). To obtain this status, LP Art implements numerous security procedures on each of its sites. 

In particular, at the time of recruitment, a thorough prefectural investigation is conducted by the police on each employee hired. This investigation allows each employee to obtain a prefectoral clearance, proof of a decent citizen life (in this sense, the investigation is more restrictive than the criminal record). Failure to obtain this clearance or the withdrawal of the clearance results in immediate removal from the company's workforce.
