Abd el-Kader, MuCEM


The exhibition presented at the MuCEM from April 6 to August 22, 2022 highlights the Emir Abd el-Kader, a key figure in the history of the Algerian state and in intellectual life in France in the nineteenth century.
It traces his life and his actions from 250 works and various documents from 43 lenders, French and Mediterranean collections, including the National Overseas Archives, the National Library of France, the National Archives, the Palace of Versailles, the Army Museum, the Orsay Museum, the Louvre Museum, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Aix-Marseille, La Piscine de Roubaix ...
Transportation, accompaniment of the conveyors, various installations: a large operation managed with mastery by the LP Art teams!
