Alexej Von Jawlensky at the Cantini Museum in Marseille

Thanks to the support of the LP Art teams, no less than 95 works have been transferred from the Fundaciun Mapfre in Madrid to the Musée Cantini in Marseille at the end of May 2021 to pay tribute to the Russian painter Alexej von Jawlensky, considered today as one of the fathers of German Expressionism, from June 11 to September 26 2021.
The exhibition benefits from loans from museums such as the Centre Georges-Pompidou, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Zentrum Paul Klee and the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. Rich in form and color, the exhibition will continue at La Piscine in Roubaix next fall.
