Anni and Josef Albers at the Musée d'art moderne de la Ville de Paris

An LP art team spent several weeks unpacking several hundred works from 25 national and foreign lenders - including the Josef And Anni Albers Foundation, the Josef Albers Museum Quadrat, the Centre Pompidou, Yale University and the Metropolitan Museum - which are on display until January 9, 2022 at the MAMVP (Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris) in an exhibition devoted to Anni and Josef Albers, a couple of inseparable artists whose respective creations laid the foundations of modernism and inspired, after them, a whole generation of artists impregnated with educational values that put forward the autonomy of reflection and self-fulfilment.
This exhibition will also be presented at the IVAM (Instituto Valenciano de ArteModerno) in Valencia, Spain, from February 15 to June 20, 2022.
