LP Art carried out the unpacking and installation at the Musée d'Orsay of the exhibition "The Origins of the World. The Invention of Nature in the 19th Century", a major exhibition which, regardless of when it actually opens to the public, will end on May 2, 2020 before being transferred to Montreal.
In partnership with the National Museum of Natural History, it traces the unprecedented development of natural sciences through the great voyages of exploration that marked the 19th century.
Of note in the nave is the spectacular presence of Parkie, the Asian elephant captured in Sri Lanka (then Ceylon) to be taken to a Dutch zoo, before being requisitioned by revolutionary France in 1797, which on this occasion leaves the National Museum of Natural History for the Musée d'Orsay.
A remarkable film shows the LP Art teams at work during the installation of Parkie: https: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiKaEu_3Rr8
