LP Art Featured in *Gala*

This summer, our installers were featured in the glossy pages of Gala magazine, on the occasion of the installation at the Musée d’Orsay of Gustave Courbet’s “A Burial at Ornans” (1841). For over a year, our team worked on the many steps required to restore this masterpiece: from taking it down, to removing the frame, positioning it vertically, reframing it, and finally, its long-awaited rehanging. This painting, with its extraordinary dimensions—measuring 6.68 m by 3.15 m—required specialized equipment as well as an exceptional team of eighteen installers. The work has now regained all its colors and a prominent place within the museum’s collections.
