On the occasion of the bicentenary of Rosa Bonheur's birth in Bordeaux, the Musée des Beaux-Arts of her native city and the Musée d'Orsay organized from May 18 to September 18 a retrospective of her work in partnership with the Château de Rosa Bonheur in Thomery (Seine-et-Marne), where the artist lived for a long time, and the Musée Départemental des Peintres de Barbizon.
