Until October 31, 2021, the Musée Fabre in Montpellier hosts "United States of Abstraction - American Artists in France, 1946-1964", an exhibition produced in partnership with the Musée d'arts de Nantes.
Bringing together nearly ninety works from public and private collections in Europe and the United States, this exhibition sheds remarkable light on the post-war exchanges between expatriate American artists and the French art scene, which contributed to the redefinition of abstract art in France.
