Enameling glass, Château d'Ecouen

LP Art realized the unpacking and the assembly of fragile and precious objects for the exhibition "Enamel glass in the Renaissance. In the footsteps of glass artists between Venice and France" which is presented at the Château d'Ecouen from October 13, 2021 to February 14, 2022.
Combining the contributions of art history, archaeology and scientific analysis, the exhibition sheds light on the provenance, attribution and dating (between the fifteenth and nineteenth centuries) of enamelled and gilded Renaissance glass that was particularly prized from the end of the fifteenth century.
