The King's animals, Château de Versailles

After the exhibition "Hyacinthe Rigaud", the Palace of Versailles presents from October 12, 2021 to February 13, 2022 "The King's Animals". An exhibition composed of works that bring to life the impressive world of animals that lived at the Palace of Versailles under the Ancien Régime.
The works come from about fifty French and foreign collections (Louvre Museum, Natural History Museum, Museum of Hunting and Nature, Uffizi Museum of Florence, National Museum of Ceramics, Natural History Museum of the University of Pavia...).

An LP Art team enlarged for the occasion devoted itself to the unpacking and hanging of about two hundred and fifty works: paintings, sculptures, naturalized animals, tapestries, sleds, vellum, porcelain or goldsmith's work.
