Until March 6, 2022, the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Caen is presenting the first retrospective devoted to Louis Chéron, an artist who reflects the French classical spirit in the wake of Charles Le Brun and whose originality is the introduction of nude women as models.
Through some forty works from public and private collections, this exhibition covers a period from 1678 to the 1720s.
LP ART has organized the removal of the works from various French and English lenders, the installation itself having been managed by the museum.
