Danish painting, Petit Palais

For the first time in France in nearly thirty-five years, the Musée du Petit Palais presents an exhibition devoted to Danish painting from 1801 to 1864.
More than two hundred works by leading artists of this period such as Christoffer Eckersberg, Christen Købke, Martinus Rørbye or Constantin Hansen illustrate 19th century Denmark. The result of recent research by an international team, the exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Statens Museum for Kunst (SMK) in Copenhagen and the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
During the month of August and early September, before unpacking and installation at the Petit Palais in Paris, LP Art crated and transported the numerous works from Stockholm, as well as works on loan from the Louvre Museum and a fragile plaster cast from the Musée des Moulages in Montpellier.
