Picasso, Bathers and bathers, MBA of Lyon

The exhibition "Picasso, Bathers and Bathers" at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lyon unfortunately did not find its audience as expected. However, it offered an interesting rereading of the theme of the bather in Pablo Picasso's work in relation to the works of a number of 19th century artists, such as Cézanne, Manet and Renoir, who influenced him in their treatment of this subject. Other contemporary artists were also invited to illustrate the current traces of Picasso in the history of art: Francis Bacon, Henry Moore, Farah Atassi, Elsa Sahal ... Archival material and photographs also illustrated Picasso's stays at the seaside.
After the exhibition closed on January 3, LP Art repacked the works during the first two weeks of January with two notable crane operations, a dozen trucking operations and three major air shipments.
