Judith and Holofernes, Caravaggio

Since its discovery five years ago, the painting of Caravaggio "Judith and Holofernes (with an estimated value of at least 120 million euros) has been through many journeys. An important stage took place last June in Toulouse where the painting was to be auctioned, before finally being sold by mutual agreement to a foreign buyer. It had previously been presented at the Hôtel Drouot in Paris to allow collectors to discover it in anticipation of its auction. In Paris as well as in Toulouse, the moves, hangings and unhangings have been realized by LP Art. A beautiful team work!
